It really sucks to have a flat, but it sucks even more when your spare tire is 10 times the size of your car. If you haven’t figured it out, this is a model replica of a 1950 Chevy truck. And I was back there rolling a spare tire to my truck. The shot was achieved via double exposure. The truck was exposed first. We had the camera placed on the pavement and focused on the truck.
My buddy Jared and I both illuminated the model truck with two flashlights to get some good lighting, but keep a dark spot to the left for the second subject.
After we illuminated the truck, we adjusted the lens focus to the predetermined point, I positioned myself and Jared lit me up with a flash light as I held still.
When those two subjects are put together…. double the exposure, double the perception deception! And of course the fun as well.
Keep Light painting folks!
